Carissa Hutchinson 
Director
Carissa Hutchinson has been a dedicated educator for over 23 years. She was a primary grade teacher in the Sacramento City Unified School District as well as a preschool teacher for the for the Head Start program. For the last 15 years, Carissa has been a Kindergarten teacher in the Westada School District in Boise, Idaho.  Her goal as a teacher is to introduce students to new ideas and concepts in ways that they can see it being useful in their daily lives. Carissa also persevered as a mother at the age of 16. As a parent and a teacher, she strives to be a facilitator of life long learning and to help children realize their potential as global citizens. 
Sheldon N. Fields
Founder/President

Sheldon Fields is the co-founder and President of Dreamer to Dream. He is a Sacramento native, devoted husband and father of 2 successful young men. As a firefighter, he has served the community for over 24 years. Having been mentored himself as a youth, Sheldon found it imperative to pay it forward by sharing his knowledge, experience and words of wisdom with youth of the Sacramento area. He has lived a life of service having mentored for the past 35 years through the Junior Fire Setters program, LINKS mentoring program as well as the California Youth Authority. His “big brother" personality, fervent love of music, motorcycle riding and competitive video gaming has allowed him to connect on a multitude of levels. Recently retired, Sheldon is now devoting his time to guiding and supporting youth through the path of adulthood.

Renita F. Winston 
Director

Renita F. Winston studied Early Childhood Education and Business in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was co-owner of Granny Gourmet Muffins in Seattle, Washington and is currently the owner of ReeFinity High Fashion Jewelry. She  retired from over 23 dedicated years in the Fire Service. Renita was an active member of New Hope Baptist Church for over twenty years. At New Hope, she served as Youth Director for more than three years and also held leadership roles in the Women’s Ministry.  She is continuing her ministry as an active member of B.O.S.S. Ministry and has been a participant in the First Five organization of Sacramento. Renita is biologically the mother of 3, but she is warmly regarded as mother to many young adults in the Sacramento area.

Chrishana Fields
Founder/Secretary

Chrishana Fields is the co-founder of Dreamer to Dream. She, along with her husband, noticed a void in the preparation of youth for successful adulthood. As a result, Dreamer to Dream was born to help fill that gap. Chrishana herself was a teenage mother. Successfully raising her son at the age of 14 and graduating high school as Valedictorian. She has worked for the Fire Service for the last 24 years and has worked her way through the ranks to her current position of Fire Marshal. In addition to improving fire safety throughout the Sacramento Community, Chrishana mentors and advocates for foster youth through the Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) program. 

William Walker
Director

William Louis Walker III is married, the father of three lovely young women, and one handsome young man. The older three are already making plans for their futures, while the younger one is starting to pursue his. When not helping them with their academic aspirations, attending soccer practice, swimming, or gymnastics, William works for the State of California and protects consumers. William came from a family of volunteers, which influenced his desire to help others. Throughout his life, he has participated in a wide range of community projects, including community feeds and blanket drives. William continues to create opportunities for others who might not be able to do so on their own.
William says that "there are some incredible things happening at Dreamer 2 Dream with some beautiful people doing awesome things in the Sacramento and Elk Grove Community."

Lindsay Cathcart-Pennetta
Director
​Lindsay Cathcart-Pennetta is a Sacramento native, and has a strong love for the community!  Having grown up in service organizations and athletic programs, she has a strong sense of teamwork and places a high value on service work.  In 2006, after completing her BA in Communications, she  discovered the Sacramento County Office of Education where talents and passions enabled her to service the youth of Sacramento!  Her first professional stop was in youth development programs.  She enjoyed working with youth to empower themselves with leadership skills and prevention programs for underage drinking, smoking and drug use.   In 2009, Lindsay found her true calling as the facilitator for the LINKS Mentoring program.  LINKS Mentoring is a program serving at-risk and high-risk youth, matching them with adult volunteer mentors who develop job and life skills helping young people with a smooth and successful transition into adulthood.  Lindsay and her husband love their community and feel grateful to do work they live.
